From New York City:
Henry Hudson Parkway North to the Saw Mill River Parkway North to the Taconic State Parkway (TSP) North, then follow directions below.

From Taconic State Parkway (TSP)
If coming from the South, take TSP North and exit at  I84 going West.
Take I84 to Rt. 9 Fishkill exit.
Take Rt. 9 North for approx. 30 miles to town of Hyde Park.
FDR Home and Library will be on left. Continue North for approx. 6  miles.
You will pass Vanderbilt Historic Site on left before RIVER RIDGE on left.

From NYS Thruway
Take NYS Thruway to exit 18 New Paltz.
Go right on Rt. 299 East.
Take right at end onto Rt 9W South to Mid Hudson Bridge exit.
Proceed East over Hudson River to first exit off bridge Rt. 9 North.
Travel North for approx. 6 miles. You will pass Vanderbilt Historic Site  on left before RIVER RIDGE on left.
