Village of Mamaroneck
With approximately six miles of shoreline, Mamaroneck boasts many beaches, parks and marinas. Its excellent school system, proximity to New York City and beauty have become the heart and soul of what is known as "The Friendly Village". Mamaroneck is a suburban commuting community, with a population of 18,000. Mamaroneck Village annual events include the Emelin Street Fair, an Antique Car Show, parades, July 4th fireworks and a youth fishing derby.

Educational Facilities
Mamaroneck residents are proud of their school system. The Mamaroneck Union Free School serves the Emlcroft Estates area. The prestigious French American School of New York is also located in Mamaroneck.

Recreational FacilitiesMamaroneck offers several private and public beaches, tennis and yacht and golf clubs, and many fine local restaurants. The Emelin Theater for Performing Arts is located adjacent to the nearby Mamaroneck Free Library and presents more than 200 performances a year of diverse, quality entertainment from jazz and classical concerts, to drama and dance. This theatre accomodates an audience of 286.

Mamaroneck Village includes many Houses of Worship, as well as Catholic and Jewish religious schools, many of which are of landmark and/or historic significance.
